I don’t know if you are the same as I am but I am not only a lover of great quality clothing and accessoires, I do love all things beautiful. Therefore one of my biggest passions is finding smaller and bigger luxury trinkets to make my life just that touch more beautiful.
I’ve done a video where I present you my favourite non-clothing related luxury items. I can promise you that those things make me as happy as buying a new handbag and everytime I look at them at home and use them, it just puts a smile on my face.
The first category I love to splurge on and buy really pretty things is stationary. I do love beautiful notebooks, even tough a normal one would work just as fine as the pages are exactaly the same. There is just something that makes you more motivated when writing in a notebook that doesn’t only serve it’s purpose but also looks extremely nice. I especially love my dior notebook. Don’t think that they are overly expensive. You can find them on the dior website for about 40 to 50 USD. Another item in the stationary category I really love buying special ones are agendas. Mine is from a brand called HA designs where you can print your initials on the agenda. Even tough they look and feel great and expensive, they are really good priced (about 60 dollars). The next category I love to buy the more luxury pieces is home decor. My first recommendation is buying beautiful coffeetablebooks of your favorite designers. There are also a lot of coffeetablebooks that not only have beautiful photos but also have the history of those designers in them. My top recommendation is „The vocabulary of Style“ from Chanel. Another home decor item is a beautiful jewelry box, which helps you to organize your jewelry and also looks stunning. The last home decor item I absolutely love is a beautiful blanket. I love my chanel blanket but since it’s white, I am also a bit scared to use it because of possible makeup and self tan marks.
Another item I love and consider a huge luxury is a great pillow. Since sleep is a huge luxury and we spend more than a third of our lives sleeping, investing in great pillows and blankets is an essential. I recently got a new pillow from parachute home and love it! I am now also looking to buy the matching duvet and another pillow for when I want to sleep on my side.
The next category are beauty tools. My absolute favorite beauty tool is my dyson airwrap. I only just got it but I am absolutely in love with it. For me, it’s worth the hefty price tag since it gives me absolutely stunning results that make me look like coming straight from the hair dresser. Also, it does save me a lot of time because you can style and dry your hair in one.
The last luxury – but non-clothing related, item I am showing you today is some really pretty looking luggage. Mine is from steamline. I got the carry-on and the large hat box. I love it so much! They make traveling even more fun! However, I do not recommend buying some really pretty leather luggage to check-in since most airports aren’t really known for treating luggage with silk gloves.
